This was sad to see. Christopher Dennis, affectionately knows as the "Hollywood Superman" because he would walk around around Hollywood Boulevard dressed as Superman for photo ops, passed away the other day.

I've never been to Hollywood, but I do remember Dennis as the main focus of the documentary Confessions of a Superhero. He seemed like a sad case, walking around Hollywood taking pictures and living off of tips (as street performers aren't allowed to charge). He was an actor, but he didn't get a lot of jobs there. But he seemed fairly content with his life and had a huge collection of Superman memorabilia.
