When The Caffeine Kicks In

I love that first moment, before you remember the reason for it, when the caffeine starts kicking in and the day goes from being a big lumbering task to something you're ready to go out there and conquer!

Yeah! I can DO this! And then I'm gonna play some video games! This day is gonna be GREAT!

Then I burn off all of that with my morning workout...

Sometimes I think caffeine might be an advantage. The problem is, I hate the taste of coffee (and I don't really like Cola either)

Caffeine seems to have no effect on me. In high school, I tried drinking Jolt Cola to perk myself up. One 20 oz. bottle is supposed to have all the caffeine of two cups of coffee. My friend said it woke him up just sniffing it. But it did nothing for me.

Thus, these experiences are foreign to me.

You're in luck, my friend! They make pills! Each of mine is worth 1 cup of coffee and I cut them in half. No yucky taste, no extra calories! The future is now!
