Geek Words Of Wisdom (Help Me Make A CGC T-Shirt!) Empty Geek Words Of Wisdom (Help Me Make A CGC T-Shirt!)

    Post  Paeter October 2nd 2013, 9:24 pm

Eventually I plan to make a CGC T-Shirt with the same graphic as the SBP T-Shirt but using the CGC URL. However I'd love to have another option for CGC'ers, and a random thread in "What's On Your Brain" got me thinking.

How about a T-Shirt filled with a bunch of "words of wisdom" that includes one or two brief, choice scripture references, but is mostly made up of geek wisdom. (And one, random non-geeky one, which at this point I think will be "Don't Get Poopy On Your Fingers".) What do you guys think? What kind of geek words of wisdom would you offer?

For me I would throw in the pot for consideration:

    "use multiple save game files"
    "wait for the director's cut"
    "bring your own dice"

Of course I know you guys can come up with some that are WAAAAY better. What do you think? What would be your geek words of wisdom?

Growing up I use to say during Halo matches "Life sucks, then you respawn"

Or for some geek-theology something like "God's save files don't get deleted"

I was always partial to the old Zelda one "Its dangerous to go alone! Take this....".  You've always got the old "All your base are belong to us"

A quick Google turns up a few interesting ones!

There are 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code

But I do like the idea of some geek-theology!!!

    Does this qualify?

    "Never tell me the odds."

I think we should induct Paeter's words of wisdom to his son:
"Don't get poopy on your fingers."

How about combining it with Hunger games

"Never tell me the odds are in my favor"
