Seriously? I know they aren't celebrated like the first 2, maybe rightfully so(and maybe not), but why do something so extreme? Is this kind of "Highlander continuity move" symptomatic of post-modern tendencies toward "believe what you like and ignore the rest of reality" (yes, I know it's fiction, but I think good fiction at least ATTEMPTS to have coherency) or is this something else? Is anyone interested in arguing why this could work better than I fear it will? I'd love to find a way to feel good about this move.
