Charity podcast for 2016

I'm planning a charity project for next year: podcasting a flash fiction story daily. Looking for a charity and some writers.

That's it? That is all you give us? How are we supposed to work with that?

I've written some flash fiction, do you have any guidelines or direction? Is this a podcast of Christian flash fiction, or flash fiction in general? Themes? ...for that matter, scifi, fantasy, real-world? Is it for kids or is it, as some of our friends would say, "edgy"?

As a lifelong geek, I often feel an outsider, and this group helps those who are forced into being outsiders, among others. I plan on doing another Geek-out! event this winter, and this is the charity I plan on sending proceeds to. It is just my recommendation; I'll be happy to help as I can for whatever charity.

I'm working out the details. Just gauging interest now. I'll need a lot of help to get 365 episodes.

Right now I'm thinking:

All genres, not only Christian. Think PG13. I may do weekly or monthly themes, e.g., October would all be horror stories. It can be previously published. Word count limit: 700. Nothing shorter than 250 words. Every author would get a by-line in each episode their story appears. I can read all the stories but if authors want to read their own that's fine. Volunteer readers would be great too.

Every month all the stories will be published in an anthology. Proceeds from sales will benefit the charity.

What do you think of a series of "scenes" in a flash-fiction format that make up a greater story?
Almost an episodic adventure?
It is a concept I've been working on for a while. I could send you several "scenes" that I have written so far.

This is off the table for now, folks. I might try to spin it up for April.
