Outward (Open World Survival RPG)

Okay, so this comes off less like a "trailer" and more like a short developer preview. It's a small team (in Canada I think) that has been working on this for four years and it will be releasing on March 26th for $40. The combat may be too Souls-like for me, but I may still give it a try! Been itching for an open world RPG that lets me play as a full-on mage!

Yeah, this looks and sounds really interesting. The whole "this game will be difficult" thing gives me pause as well, though.

But given that this is an RPG, the combat will not rely on hand-eye coordination or quick reflexes, right?

Well that's the world I'd love to live in. But "Dark Souls" is considered an action RPG series.

Right, ok.
A guy I work with plays the Dark Souls games, and from what I've heard about their unforgiving nature and difficulty, they're definitely not for me.
