I'm re-watching Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice with my mom since I'm still stuck at her house. We're about halfway through it. When we got through the "Knightmare" scene, I told her that this scene is supposed to make sense when the director's cut of Justice League comes out, as is the next scene where the time-travelling Flash gives Batman the warning that "You were right about him" and that Lois Lane is the key.
I have heard that both of those dream sequences were supposed to pay off in the Snyder Cut. Someone posted that it will probably feature a scene where the Flash goes back in time to warn Bruce, connecting to the scene in BvS. But that got me thinking...if the Flash has to go back to warn Bruce about some disastrous event happening and give him instructions on how to prevent it, that would mean that the event had already happened. You get what I'm saying? How could Batman stop the problem from happening if the events we've already seen (including the warning) have already led us to the problem being a problem?
I know we can't know until it comes out, but I'm curious if anyone has any theories about how this could be resolved. Time travel always messes with me.
