Warning: Graphic Violence
I've never played Dead Island, nor do I intend to, but I always thought this trailer was a masterpiece:
It is intriguing, sad, disturbing and yet beautiful. Now a live-action recreation of the trailer has been released:
It is extremely well done in my opinion, following the original almost shot for shot and bringing up a lot of the same emotions. My only real complaint about this one is at the end, where the Dad and daughter’s hands are meeting was the perfect place to stop instead of holding that shot a few seconds longer. Ending on that shot would have made it more powerful, I think. Regardless, this is very well done and well worth your time if you can get the violence.
