I like this...

has anyone else heard the starwars radio dramas?

So was that fan-made to explain the change in color, or what?

I've got two of the official audio dramas. One of them is fairly good and the other is pretty bad. It seemed like one of those things where they knew die-hards would buy them so they didn't put as much effort into it as they could have.

The video has been removed. Will someone describe what happened?

Seriously, I'm assuming he posted the same clip I saw which was revealed at Celebration V. It's some "never-before-seen footage" which will be included in the Blu-Ray release next year. It's Vader sitting in his meditation chamber saying something like "Luke, give in to the dark side." Then it shows Luke in what I assume is Obi-wan's old home constructing his new lightsabre and ends with his igniting it. This would have taken place right before Luke went to Jabba's Palace to rescue Han and company.

So it's a serious scene. I've seen others that...reworked the shots of a few key scenes in Episode III to imply (disturbingly well) a much darker means by which Anakin 'earned' his Sith title. I'd try to get a link to it, but it's a bit inappropriate for this site. You'll have to search for it on your own time.
I guess this scene is right up there with Luke chatting with Biggs on Tatooine and Threepio tricking the snowtroopers into the Wampa pen.
