CGC Background Name?!

I'm sure most of you have seen the "new" and "temporary" CGC background monstrosity scheme.

Soooooo... because Paeter is on vacation this week (he said so on the podcast) I thought it might be fun, to once again start a mischievous topic in his absence.

What should this background be named?

Ready.... go!

How about we call it blue?

If we do it enough and get other people to go along with it we could get Paeter to believe he's colorblind!

So a name for this patter would be something like "Green Lantern Nightmare"

1. "Back to the Nineties Green"
2. "Techno-Forest Green"
3. "Lemon-Lime Delight"
4. "So-Retro-It's-Not-Cool Green"
5. "Parallax"

I've been awake most of the night working on it and spending the last few weeks trying to get things together to be able to do it. I don't know if it's gonna stay like this but I'm trying to make our site look better and more professional.

Comments, suggestions, ideas are all welcome.

It was rather atrocious! (There's another one "Atrocitus Green")

I like the current design much better.

My comments:
-The logo looks stretched (out of portions). I actually like how HUGE it is on the forum page. It is quite cool.

-If the current layout persists... I think it would be good to have more articles on the landing page.

- I liked how the alpha version had this tile layout. (I like how the Scifi christian has things laid out: http://thescifichristian.com/)

- I like how you have the popular posts and recent posts scroll bar. I might need to steal that and put this CGC scroll bar onto the untold podcast's front page!

I'l probably go to this site more since it doesn't cause me pain to look at it.

Okay, MY vote for the old background has to be "burn a hole in your face until blood comes out your ears".
Believe me. No one was more pained to look at it than me. I was playing around one afternoon when I found time... and then ran out of time right after uploading a really terrible choice.

Spent a few minutes with Holly and one "Insiders" journal entry talking about how horrible it felt to leave it that way and force myself to move on to my allotted "Mixing Time" for the day, not knowing when I might EVER have time to come back to it again.

The thought did occur to me that it might be so painful that someone would just HAVE to rise up from the community and volunteer to rescue us from it.
