Geek Romance Movies

I'm planning to make a little list of Geeky Romantic movies for the podcast and maybe Youtube this week. I've got a few titles in mind, like Somewhere In Time and The Time Traveller's Wife. Might give Back To The Future 1 and 3 honorable mentions since both plots hang so much on whether or not a romance will work out or not.

Any suggestions from you guys? Any movie with both romance and geek appeal could potentially make the list.

Avatar? A romantic relationship served as the catalyst for changing the main character's opinions, and drove him to take a moral stand.

Superman II A romantic relationship turned out to be Superman's greatest weakness - moreso even than kryptonite since it led him to voluntarily relinquish his powers.

Twilight LOL not really
Ghost came to mind as I read this post.
I can't remember the name but there was a movie a few years about a Zombie who falls in love with a living person.

Warm Hearts, Rickster... I liked that movie, it had a certain mindless charm to it.

How about About Time? One of the few movies I have enjoyed seeing more than once.

"Sydney White" springs immediately to mind. The argument over whether pirates or ninjas are better is a classic. Of course, everyone agrees that pirate ninjas are better than either one.....

I didn't think about until listening to your segment, but "The Lake House" is a neat little "time-travel" romance. I liked it quite a lot.
