So seven years ago today (August 13th) my sister went to the hospital because she had a rash from an allergic reaction to some medication. That rash which is known as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome ended up causing 3rd degree burns over 80% of her body inside and out. When they moved her to the Critical Care Unit we weren't sure she was going survive the night and she called me in to say what she thought was going to be her last good bye. But thank God that night she ended up getting transferred to a hospital that had a doctor who was specialist in SJS and was able to treat her and my sis survived.
This is what you would call the start of the hardship that has been my life and something I have just recently realized is if my sister hadn't gotten sick I wuld have finished college a semester sooner and might have had my career established more and wouldn't have been able to take care of my grandma.
