I was a little underwhelmed by the first Guardians of the Galaxy, but this is looking to be a lot of fun.
The baby Groot aspect could actually be a very good idea. While it certainly has some 'gimmick potential', it could also be a source of meaningful character development, especially for Rocket who seems to be playing a parental role in the film. I was expecting Groot to be conveniently all grown up by the next movie, restoring the status quo. This is a bolder choice, and I find myself looking forward to it.
