Your E3 (video game) Wish List!

E3 is coming!

Okay, it's still about 6 weeks away, but I'm definitely thinking about it already. The big press events that will feature major video game related announcements are scheduled for the weekend of June 10th-11th, with one or two more that Monday and the convention running all the rest of that week.

I'm interested in hearing what your wish lists are! Even if you've never heard of E3 before, I'd love to hear about your wish for a cool new video game, a video game sequel you're itching for, or anything else video game related that you'd love to have climb out of your imagination and become a reality. Feel free to even make your wishlist a bit unreasonable. These aren't predictions and don't even have to be as realistic as hopes.

I won't put my full list here (I've got a video and podcast segment in the works for that), but some highlights of my wishlist include:

A proper sequel in the Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic series.

Skyrim: New Vegas (By that I mean an Elder Scrolls game made by a "B-Team" studio that isn't a numbered installment in the series, much like "Fallout: New Vegas".)

PS2 Disc-based backwards compatibility on PS4.

The majority of all NES, SNES, GBA, DS and 3DS titles available on the Switch E-Shop.

Open World/City, Justice League/DC Comics, action RPG.


So what's on YOUR list?

If you give me the old 8-bit and 16-bit Koei games, I'd probably spring for a Switch.

I would love to see something like a remake of Uncharted Waters. A high-seas, age of sail, explore and trade and pirate game. They could even use the Napoleon/Empire Total War ships and graphics...that would be cool, or a Total War version like they had Spartan: Total Warrior.

A new KOTOR game would be great.
In the meantime, if you want to experience several not-quite-proper sequels, try out SWTOR. It is free to play, and the story lines are open to you in that mode. Plus, if you go on the Jedi Covenant server, I'd get back on and join you! Story that you can share.

Well, I was going to say I'm hoping for an announcement that Bradon Sanderson's Mistborn Birthright game is actually coming out (on PS3 as originally promised).
Unfortunately, a quick search indicated it is finally dead.

Man, if they did backwards compatability on PS3 games, I'd almost consider getting a PS4 someday.
Of course, given my track record, I'd move up and then they'd announce the PS5, so I'm probably better off just waiting for the PS5.
I hold out zero hope they'll implement backwards compatibility of any type though. Just can't see it happening.

Oh I forgot i'm hoping for a new Tomb raider game (fall of the tomb raider maybe)
and Spyro the Dragon remake
