Re: Artemis Fowl Trailer
Wait, what?
I'd heard of this book series, but didn't know it was... "Men In Black: Kids"?
Well, maybe I can enjoy watching my boys watch it. Probably not for me, though. Smells like a lot of "kid empowerment", which always kinda irritates me.

I started the first book but didnt get far into it but if I remember correctly he's like a 10 year old evil genius with one of the highest IQs ever. Maybe I'll try and give the book try again before the movie comes out.

Re: Artemis Fowl Trailer
I've read all the books. It isn't so much kid-empowerment as it's super-rich, genius kid who inherited an organized crime syndicate.

Lol! When a movie asks me to believe that scenario is possible, it's what I'd call the definition of kid empowerment. A kid who is financially, intellectually and organizationally above the adults around him is SUPER empowered in my book. So I'll be steering clear of this one.
