I had my own proud dad moment last night.
My 14-year-old daughter took part in her school's production of High School Musical. She only had a minor role, and wasn't often visible because she was at the back of the stage, but she poured her heart into that role. She sang, she danced, and during the basketball game scene, she was acting with everything she had, being a spectator of the
game, she had such enthusiasm on her face as she watched and cheered.
There have been a lot of long days, weekends and nights given up. There are no sufficient words to express what I'm feeling. But as Palpatine says "We will watch your career with great interst."
She said in the car on the way home that next musical, in 2 years time, she'd like to try for a bigger acting role. She feels that she's ready for that now. Which reminded me of of Matthew 25:23
