Another new War of the Worlds

There was a thread earlier about the BBC producing a miniseries adaptation of War of the Worlds that takes place in a more contemporary setting to the original book. I guess that already aired, but I haven't watched it yet.

Looks like we're already set to get yet another adaptation, this time from EPIX. This one looks to be a continuing series, and once again, it's in a modern setting.



It premieres tomorrow (as of this writing). I don't know if many people have EPIX. I'm not sure if I've ever heard of it.

Actually, the BBC one had a historical Victorian setting (which was why I was enthusiastic about it). It has aired in the UK. I haven't seen it. I think it is available to buy/rent. Might see if I can get it on youTube. I believe it was a mini-series.
