Dean Cain A Christian(?)

Add another "actor in geek entertainment who is a Christian" to the pile I started recently with Neal MacDonough and animated Justice League members!

Sounds like Dean Cain, who I'd already noticed appearing in faith-based films, is a Christian of some strand. I don't have a particular link to include here. I just searched "Dean Cain Christian" after seeing that he is involved in the Christian Video Game Initiative "TruPlay". When talking about his faith in interviews, he doesn't speak with a ton of clarity or specificity. But the cumulative comments he makes sounds like a guy who is where he describes himself in his faith: A guy with vague Christianity in his upbringing but who leaned into his faith more seriously after becoming a dad 22 years ago.

So he may or may not have been a believer when he played Superman, but he sounds suspiciously like one now.

Love the idea of giving him a big hug in heaven someday! (I doubt he'll be wearing the Superman suit, but that's how I picture it...)

I've known this for a few years now because he started appearing in a number "family-friendly" movies and shows. I would not classify him as an Evangelical but I think he's either Catholic or part of a "high-church" denomination.

ANother factoid: he is 1/4 Japanese.

Yeah, I noticed him showing up in some faith-based movie trailers and so I've been wondering for awhile now. Margot Kidder is another I've wondered about over the years.
