I love it when the second half of the trailer shifts into the action montage with the B Machina song playing, it couldn't be more perfect.

If only U.S. distributors would get off a dime and make it available to see in this country, sometime before the entire rest of the world has seen it.

It's like the Solomon Kane movie, all over again.

When and where can we see Iron Sky? In US Theaters? Redbox?

And Kris, have you heard any news about when we might be able to (legally) see the Solomon Kane flick?

If you wish to see Iron Sky, you'll have to fly to Europe. It's showing in limited engagements there. No American release has been booked, nor is there a release date for the video. You can pre-order the super-premium deluxe blu-ray for 300 Euros, though. Their swag store is seriously awesome.

As for Solomon Kane, you will have to buy a Region 2 disc from Amazon if you want to see it. They also have a region-free DVDs on Amazon and eBay, but they are foreign bootlegs of varying quality, as I discovered. Still, it was a really good movie, and a good treatment of the character. I just finished watching this on Netflix. No serious review here, but freakin over the top movie. Several humorous scenes, but an unfortunate inclusion of a plethora of swearing that just wasn't needed.

Currently watching "Cross", and thinking about watching "Solomon Kane". Anyone got reviews or thoughts on either of these films?

Cross has been on my Q for a bit. I'll get around to it eventually.

Solomon Kane is an outstanding movie. Loved it. Can't wait for a proper blu-ray release instead of just streaming.

Don't watch Cross. Please, don't! Bad effects, terrible acting (surprising, given a few of the names including Brian Austin Green, Jake Busey, and Michael Clark Duncan). Winst, it looks like something we might have produced back in our UE days.
