Besides Jesus what Biblical character do you look up to the most?
For me it's king David he is someone who was least among his family and becomes the greatest king Isreal had.
I really want to study his life and learn how to become a man after God's own heart.

I'm with you on David. The poor guy had to make some tough decisions and he was willing to learn from his mistakes.

That's a hard one. I'm torn between Peter, "Doubting" Thomas (he gets a bum rap IMO) and Gideon.

Many moons ago when I was a worship pastor, my "anti-hero" was Moses. At the time I was leading a bunch of people through a ministry transition that many of them didn't want to go through. Some of the parallels between Moses/Israel and Paeter/Music Ministry Volunteers were depressingly/encouragingly striking.

Would I sound like an idiot if I said my hero was Job? Man goes through immense horrible events and pulls through without ever losing his faith. That's the kind of faith I want to have.

I think David as well. He was loved the Lord, had flaws, yet the Lord still used him.

Who is your Biblical Hero Empty My hero is Daniel

    Post  orvette1 January 26th 2013, 8:56 pm

I like Daniel. He was told not to pray, but did and got thrown in the lions den. When he was older he read the writing on the wall. Throughout his life he didn't back down from being who he was, or letting others know his feelings on his beliefs.

So, does that mean Spirit Blade Productions is your wandering in the wilderness for forty years?! Smile

Whew . . . this one is hard. I'm inclined to pick a character that I identify with . . . and if that's the case I'm picking one of the scoundrels.

So I'll pick someone I'm not like at all . . . John the Baptist. Brave, bold, living on a little and confronting those in power!
