Watching "Season of the Witch". Question to the forum;

Wolf pack attack at night, open area at camp for maneuvering. What is your weapon of choice? Blunt type, sword/edged weapon, crossbow/bow?

Several. Start with a bow or cross bow and start firing immediately try to pick off as many as you can long range. Once they are closer move to a spear or halberd or naginata. Be careful not to let them surround you. If they encircle you try and force your way outside of their circle. Try to keep them at a distance as long as possible. Use of Fire is a very good weapon. Once they are too close for the staff weapon to be effective switch to a torch and a sword or axe. Also make sure to have a dagger or hatchet if you get brought down and pinned because the closer they get the less effective a longer weapon will be. Also I hear that broken wine bottles and being Liam Neeson help too.

All this supposes that you are alone and only see them coming from afar. If you are being hunted for a long period of time, try setting traps. If you have others with you your strategy and hope for living change.

Fire is defiantly a good idea because wolves are supposed to be afraid of fire. If a gun is not an option either an axe or a sword makes sense to me.
