Unfortunately homeschooling is illegal in the Netherlands (and I think Europe).

Yeah, I would have liked that for our country as well. Especially with the overall deteriorating quality of education and the promotion of non-biblical ethics. Which I guess would be a worldwide problem, but as you say, at least you guys have the option.

Both of my sisters home school their kids. My youngest brother home schools his kids.
My parents home schooled me and my three younger sibs. It can be a good thing.

Pretty sure already know this, but we homeschool our children, too. Wow, Kate...that was surprising for me to hear, too! When it came time for our oldest to start school, considering the deterioration of public education, we decided to home school as well. We wanted to give it a try to see how things went. So far we think things are going well, so we have stuck with it and our oldest is in 7th grade this year.

I was home schooled growing up and am planning on home schooling my kids when I get married. (Or more accurately, I guess, my wife home schooling our kids. Now I just need to find her.
