Flash and Supergirl are getting crossover

So next season there is going to be a crossover episode of the Flash and Supergirl that is also going to be...wait for it...A musical.
Yeah I thought DC was suppose to be dark and serious

Buffy was usually dark and serious, but they did a musical episode, too.

Really? That seems like a waste of a crossover opportunity. I don't really understand why people do "musical episodes". Fringe did it once, and it was seriously weird. In the case of Fringe, I seem to remember they provided a (tenuous) story-world reason for it, but it still stretched things too far. Not sure my 'willing suspension of disbelief' can cope.

Dude. Mixing musical numbers with a sci-fi/superhero setting? What kind of lunatic would think anyone wants that?

Well, the statement still stands. Unless I'm way ahead of my time... people generally don't want that.

Maybe they'll release a "Legacy Edition" of that episode in a few years.
