    I've been testing this app called Pact that each week you set a goal of how many days you are going to workout and how much real money you are going to loose for each of they days you didn't (IE if I set it for next week i'm going to workout 3 days and loose $5 each day and only workout 1 day then I loose $10). Well I just made my pact for 6 days next week at $50 for skipping. So if I don't workout at all next week I could loose $300. Talk about motivation

    When you get to the gym you start the app and it uses GPS to determine if you're at gym then you click start and it will start timing you as long as you are in that gym for 30 min it will count. So you could just go to the gym sit in the hot tub for 30 minutes and then stop the app. I also have the app connected to my fitbit account so if I reach 10,000 steps in a day that will also count as a workout for the day.
    Also as an extra incentive to get you to the gym the money that people get charged for when they missed a day gets split by all those who did make their goal

    Holy crap I could use this, but I'd need it to track my heart rate or something. (I don't walk/run or go to a gym.)

    I DID IT!!! Wow it is a great motivator. this week I did something less crazy and made it 1 day this week with $5 if I skip

    There is a motion detector feature for those who workout at home or at a hotel gym etc.
