Comic Book I'm putting together

I'm putting together an exclusive comic book to use as a special promo tool when I sell my books at Comicons (I do several every year) and thought I should share. I'm thinking about doing a kickstarter to help me cover about half of my printing expenses (I plan on giving away about a thousand of them if possible). Would anybody be interested in something like that?

Do you have any thoughts on incentives for backers?

I do

I'm only trying to raise a thousand bucks (a little less than half my costs to put the whole comic together and put 1500 copies in hand). I have a few levels, mostly low cost, between 10 and $25. I have two spare tickets to a May comicon that I'm giving out on my highest level ($120--the tix are about $85 ea at the gate). My biggest concern is going to be getting some early support right away at launch and getting help with exposure to others (successful projects already have about a third of their support lined up in advance of launch). the other levels include paperback copies of my books plus copies of the comic. I may have some of my artist friends also put together some exclusive, promotional art pieces.

If it seems like I have the support to do it I'll launch a kickstarter as soon as I have cover art and at least 3 pages of show-worthy product. I think it's doable.
