    What Do You Do When You're Sick Empty What Do You Do When You're Sick

    It's back to school and back to germs! (Thank you my lovely boys, for bringing such beautiful things into our home.)

    I don't remember much of yesterday.

    Started feeling sick on Sunday and was feverish by bedtime. Yesterday I did just a few work-related things but then napped on and off all day and evening while finishing up my binge-viewing of "Justified".

    I gained just enough clarity a couple hours before bedtime to play a little Dragon Quest Builders, but most of the day was napping and TV watching.

    What do you do to pass the time when you're sick enough that you can't work?

    I tend to spend most of my time in bed, maybe some in the arm chair.
    I alternate between sleeping, reading, and in recent time, watching Netflix on my phone.
    I binged the entire Shanara Chronicles earlier this year when I put my back out.

    Drink pink grapefruit juice. It keeps you hydrated, provides sugar for energy, soothes and coats your throat, boosts your vitamin C, heals broken bones, replenishes the ozone layer, and wards off hippies. All in all, a wonder-juice.

    I had my 4-week vacation from work this month, and have basically been sick since week 2. It started with a flue including lots of heavy coughing. That has taken until about yesterday to finally subside a bit. But I've also been struggling with stomach problems together with the coughing, which are still here unfortunately.
    So I haven't done very much. Read some books, among others a Star Wars novel titled Revan, did a little bit of paper crafting but far less than I normally would, just barely enough to keep my YT channel going (new video post every single week), some online shopping, and yes a lot of TV; finally finished the latest Flash and Arrow seasons and am about to start Defenders. Agents of Shield is still waiting. And I'm suddenly addicted to daily reruns of Masterchef Australia 2015 - and I hate cooking! clown

    Tomorrow is my first day at work Sad

    I usually stay in bed with my laptop set up on a stool by my bedside table. I watch Netflix and YouTube and stuff, or I try to fall asleep to podcasts. I had food poisoning last April, so I watched several episodes of a sitcom called Last Man Standing (because I don't have to pay close attention to sitcoms) and finally got around to seeing What About Bob?

    I don't get sick. I've been HEALED in Jesus' name. There must be sin in your life if you're sick. You should pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal it to you and repent.
