The new year will soon be here and I'm currently working on my goals for 2018 and I'm curious on what are some of your goals and plans for the year?

1. Make list of goals...
But seriously:
2018 is the 30th anniversary of Red Dwarf, so I'm going to finish writing The Gospel According to Red Dwarf.
I've already got a publication date set for Bit#4 of The Ambivalence Chronicles, so I need to get that finished first.
And I've been after a change of day job for years, so maybe I'll get back on that too...

Re: 2018 what are you goals
Well, work goals aside I don't have any that come to mind. Last January I started a more disciplined workout routine that I'm amazed I've been consistent with for nearly the entire year, so I want to keep that going.
Holly and I just talked about some things we'd like to do to bring some more intention to prayer and Bible reading for our boys but haven't zeroes in on a specific plan of action yet.
I turn 40 in April, so I suppose one goal is to figure out how I want to celebrate that.

I'd really like to work from home for a ministry or ministries managing their social media presence.

That would be so cool! Have you been putting out any feelers?

Same here!
4th of April for me.
Not sure if I should start planning how I wanna celebrate. Part of me thinks hire the small auditorium at church, have some people come and have kind of a geeky theme.
Maybe Get a few computers together and play some games of Starship Artemis (projecting the captain's display onto the big screen) https://artemisspaceshipbridge.com/
If nothing else, I should probably VLOG the occasion.

Re: 2018 what are you goals
I'm gonna give some more deliberate thought to this after Christmas hits, and I'm done with work for the year, but the obvious things are:
* Writing
** I must publish Jewel of The Stars book 2 in the first half of the year. I was gonna aim for April, but it may be delayed as I save up for editing costs.
** Ideally I should publish book 3 in 2018 as well.
* Weight
** Yeah, I'm fat, and getting fatter by the day. Gotta do something about that. Clothes are all getting tight and I lack the energy I used to have for walking.
* Spiritual
** Harder to quantify, but putting more priority on devotional time with God is a must
Of course, a goal is useless unless it is measurable, so I'll give some thought to that as well.
