Happy Birthday, Paeter

Our fearless leader is turning 40 right now, so let's all wish him a happy birthday and express our appreciation to him.

Thanks you guys! We had a great time away! Just a simple hotel room with my wife for four nights of HGTV watching and video game playing. (Guess which one of us did which.)
So good to just "be" for awhile. A great way to crush the soda can of my 30's and pop open a fresh can of 40's!

So Holly had a good time, too, then? I was kind of confused about that. You said you were going to hole up in a hotel room with a bunch of games and your wife, and I thought, How does she feel about that? I know my wife would be bored, sitting on the bed, fooling with her phone if we did that. But if you had two TVs and she could watch her stuff without interruption, then that might be nice for her.

Yeah, she used the hotel TV and I brought my own. It's something we started doing on our annual weekend getaways a couple years ago. We basically are bumming around in the same room doing different things but still chatting or just quietly being together. And since we haven't had cable for years its a special treat for Holly to watch all her favorite HGTV shows.
