    Paeter,

Could you describe for us your review scale? When I rate movies like on Netflix, the movie starts out in the middle (3 stars) and as it goes on, it moves either up the scale or down the scale. For a movie to reach 5 it has to be awesome and I would want to watch it over and over again... think Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. Very few movies have reached a 5 for me. Likewise very few movies have every been a 1 for me. Most movies stay a 3 for me... I like it; there were things that I liked, but also things I didn't like, and overall the movie didn't really stand out to me.

I give this perspective to contrast how other people could approach reviews. When I first started hearing your reviews I was kinda confused because some movies you weren't crazy about, you were still giving *relatively* high scores given my perspective. Then one day you mentioned that you think of it more like grading a test and it was like a light coming on. Below a certain score is failing and the lower below that is a measure of the degree of suckage. Since then, your review ratings have made more sense to me. Anyway, if you could post for us your guidelines of how you review and describe what the numbers mean. E.g. 7.0 - 7.9: C - an average movie. There were moments in the movie with redeeming qualities there were also a few glaring flaws that I could not overlook. blah, blah, blah.

We could then sticky this scale in the forums and give people a perspective of where you're coming from.

Great idea! Wow. I feel like a huge moron for having never done this before now.

You da man! I've got it on my To Do list to sticky that both in the Fan Zone and on "Paeter's Brain" this week.

    Thanks so much!
