Hey all,
My name is Steve Dorning, I am a Christian Sci-Fi Writer, a happily married husband of 19 years and a father of 4 (1 Girl and 3 boys, all of which I am extremely Proud.) I am currently working on a script that I plan to submit to the SBA Production Staff. I really look forward to working with you all.
Heavy Metal Cowboy was the original name of the sci fi series that I started writing. I have used a variation of the name throughout my digital career. I have changed alot in the last eight years, coming to know my Lord more closely. In coming to know Him, I have strove to turn my talents to Glorifying Him. I am currently a Young Adult Sunday School Teacher at Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Alabama. Mount Tabor just celebrated our 200th year anniversary as a church!
My favorite stuff: God (His goodness and mercy constantly astound me), Stories ( All kinds of stories. As long as they make plausible sense.) I like books that were written by David Gemmel, Jim Butcher and R.A.Salvatore just to name a few. I like some Ted Dekker too. I loved the Firefly tv show, i also liked shows like SG-1 and Atlantis. Star Trek (Almost all that I have seen of them, I haven't seen them all tho). Star Wars the original 3 the new ones were okay. Thats nut in a me shell er...me in a nutshell. Something like that.
