Super Bowl

With the super bowl coming up i was curious on if and why everyone here watches the game?
For me if i do watch the game it's for the commercials but I haven't watched the game in a few years now

I usually miss most of the season games, but I always make sure I get to watch the Super Bowl.

I used to watch for the commercials. Then I stopped watching and just recorded it to fast forward through the game and watch commercials later. Last year I discovered that you can see all the commercials online using a simple search, including half-time if you want, without ever having to sit through a moment of sports.

Of course the last few years, viral videos have raised the bar for funny/weird commercials, and so the superbowl commercials have been less and less of a draw for me. This year I might not even get around to doing the internet search for them. After all, in the time it takes to search for and watch them all, I could gain 1 or 2 character levels in Skyrim!

For those who want a sneak peak, search for the VW "Barkside" commercial. It's online, it's a SUperbowl commerical, and it's hilarious.

I caught the last couple minutes of the game, and none of the commercials thanks to AFN (the jerks). I did enjoy the last couple minutes though.

Instead of watchin' the game I ended up playin' a game of scrabble with a few other friends while a few other friends of mine watched the game.

I admit that I watched the game, and was less interested in the commercials this year. Honestly, the only one I really liked was "The Bark Side", which didn't even air, and the "Dusting Vampires" car headlight commerical. All the others pretty much so bit the dust.

As for the game, I got what I wanted, a good, close game that kept me wondering if the trailing team at the end would make that last minute comeback and win the game (thankfully, the Pats did not win).
