Introducing...

Just quickly introducing myself. I'm Ben Avery. I'm a storyteller -- usually that takes the form of comic books (my primary profession) and puppets (not a profession, yet). I also do a podcast called Strangers and Aliens.

I love comics books, almost any movie or TV show that starts with the word "Star" ("Dancing with the Stars" doesn't count . . . but "Starlost" does!), and of course C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tokien. And swamp monsters -- I don't know why.

Anyway, glad to find the forum! Really enjoy the Spirit Blade podcast, and some of the threads here are interesting (although I promise not to bump any that are too old).

Oh yeah. Yes. Absolutely. All the series, too! I liked Stargate SG-1's characters, Stargate Atlantis' tone, and Stargate Universe's story. I haven't seen Stargate Infinity -- but I DO plan to! And I consider Stargate SG-1's final two seasons as a fourth series, Stargate SG-1.5. As a HUGE fan of Farscape, I enjoyed those last two seasons as well.

Woohoo! The best show ever made in the history of the universe!! Don't know how many times I've watched it all through. I'm itching to do it again but I'm gonna try and wait until I upgrade to the blu ray set.

The next few months are big for me -- I have a "graphic novel documentary" about the history of the Bible coming, plus the ending of Zondervan's TimeFlyz, Kingdoms, and Hand of the Morningstar, and a special complete edition of ArmorQuest, printing the entire story in color (for the first time) -- so I'd love to do an interview. Especially to get the word out about Book of God!
