Moving/Combining Forums

Hey Everybody,

We're working on combining some of the less active forums here into other forums. Not sure how long this will take, but I wanted to give you the heads up. If you see a forum "locked", it's because we're moving all of those posts into an existing forum.

We'll also be updating descriptions on a few forums to reflect the additional topics that they will now encompass.

My aim is to keep the forums looking active when new visitors come by.

If you have any questions or thoughts about this, please feel free to comment here!

In the meantime, thanks for your patience as we re-arrange the furniture!

Also I notice the Podcast no longer tells me GL is awesome. How will I remember that he's awesome if I don't have the podcast telling me every week?

Good idea! I think maybe that's the main message of the Bible, isn't it?

I am uncontrollably compelled to add that the above is NOT the main message of the Bible, in case you have randomly stumbled upon this thread without any knowledge of my official stance on such matters. In fact, following your heart should be considered among the worst personal philosophies in the history of humankind.

Whew... Okay, I feel better.

I'm thinking, Paeter, that leaning too much on the heart or the head can get us in trouble, and I believe the Biblical position is one of balance; we need to use our head to guard our hearts, but sometimes we care called to do things and love people that reason would question heartily.

Just my part in this continuing threadjack.
