As a special segment of "In Search Of Truth" next week, I'd like to collect and share the SBU's thoughts on what we are thankful for.
So if you're interested, please take a moment and think about who God is and how he has revealed his love to you in whatever details of your life come to mind, be they deep and thought-provoking or simple and silly.
Don't feel like your list needs to be "complete" or that you are bad for not mentioning something that someone else does. The idea is just to sit with God for a minute, reflect on the various facets of your life, and publicly thank him here for whatever good things come to mind.
I'll start by saying that I'd like to thank my amazing God for:
Revealing himself
a wife who loves me
sons who laugh
dark and brutal fantasy
board games
discipleship and my study mentor
the opportunity to merge my geek passions with ministry
my wife enjoying Agricola almost as much as I do
providing for my family's needs and far beyond
