This seems like a pretty easy going End of the World phenomenon.

[Curly from City Slickers]Day Ain't Over, Yet[/Curly from City Slickers]

To be fair, though, I always got the impression it that the Mayan calendar's meaning was simply that the end of one era had been reached, and a new one would begin. The alternative impression I got was that it would signify the end of one type of history, and the beginning of something else. I figure anticipating an undefined paradigm shift is healthier than interminably looking toward one apocalypse after another.

Well since the end hasn't happened yet I guess I can post again
I just don't understand why the Mayan's don't just buy another calander like everybody else.

Strange, this post-apocalypse world strongly resembles the pre-apocalypse world.

    Stupid Mayans.
