First off I'm going to give my opinion on the Indiana Jones. I honestly don't care for the first Indy movie (God killing all those people stealing the ark of the covenant was so stupid), laughed a lot at the second one, but ended up not really liking it either and Temple of Doom is my favorite followed by Crystal Skull. (WHAT?!? CRYSTAL SKULL???.......yup.) Maybe Crystal Skull falls into the so-bad-it's-good category for me or something, but I thought it was a lot of fun, it was dumb, sure, but it was still fun and the nuke the fridge scene was hilarious!

I've hear multiple people say that a big reason they hated Crystal Skull is because it made the franchise a science fiction franchise, but wasn't it always a sci-fi/fantasy franchise? In the first one "god" flew around killing people, in the second one there were magic rocks that glowed and allowed you to pull people hearts out or something and in the third Indiana heals his Dad with some holy water that was keeping someone else alive for seven hundred years. Sounds like fantasy to me. Am I missing something here?
