Any Christmas traditions you guys are especially looking forward to?

We're visiting Holly's family in PA this year and I will be bringing them the traditional Frandsen family Christmas Eve meal of Lasagna, Seven Layer Salad, garlic bread and Andes mints.

I'm also looking forward to the quiet contemplative nature of their 11pm traditional service.

And at some point before the New Year when we're home again, I will subject Holly to her annual Christmas Quest, in which she must follow a series of clues around the house to arrive finally at a present.

I will watch for you as you drive through Ohio!! No real set traditions that we always do. But looking forward to some time off work!! Hopefully a few late nights with some video games! And of course lots of new toys......for the kids of course, not like I would get them things so I can play them.....*cough*. Always good to get with all the family though no matter how hectic it is trying to have Christmas 3 times!

Hope you have a safe journey and a great time Paeter!

I'm looking forward to our traditional breakfast casserole (a healthy, but just as tasty, version), Advent reading and candle lighting, then opening gifts at the house. Then an afternoon/evening with family (this year, it's in-laws).

The main tradition I remember would be opening presents on Christmas Eve because my mom usually worked Christmas Day.

Although, it's exciting, this year I get to spend Christmas AND New Years with my family. Something I haven't been able to do since 2005!

My family goes to this baptist Church that has a different Christmas play every year but this is the final year so that tradition is over
