Acording to this article thwy are going to make a scifi movie based on the video game Tetris

Wow. These guys need to check their calendars. April was months ago...

I've been waiting for them to announce this for years!! I'm so excited!! Just think of all the possibilities! They are literally endless...as long as you have some boxes falling into place at some point in the movie you're golden!

I think you could actually make a good Pong, Mario or Pac-Man movie because they actually have characters (of sorts.) Make it animated and give them some personalities and that could be fun, but Tetris doesn't even have anything close to characters. The most I can say for that is Tetris is a cool word, so the title of the movie will be cool at least.

I just watched the last hour of Battleship on TNT/Spike/some strange cable network that I don't usually watch over the weekend.

If Tetris is anything like Battleship, I weep for the species. BS was corny, ridiculous, and not to be taken seriously, I get that. But it was still bad.
