Rugged Warrior My new vlog

So I have been wanting to do a vlog on YouTube for a while and today I uploaded an Star Wars episode Vii trailer reaction video as an Episode 0
It's not the best but I'm still learning and I will get better.

Never considered that Luke might be the bad guy. The trailer sure leaves room for him to be the guy in the mask, though!

I don't want them to do this it would be too much like Empire and I would rather them do something else.

Episode 1 is up I know it's pretty crappy still getting use to this and have to start somewhere

Ok so this is part of my official vlog but on my stream tonight I actually beat a pretty hard boss with out getting hit once and I learned how to share that clip on youtube so it is on my channel

Nice kick-off video! I liked the opening and closing music and vote that you don't change them! Outtake was a nice inclusion as well! Have fun!

I deleted most of the videos off my channel an will refilm most of them later will try and get a new video (retro game treasure unboxing) later this week and a Civil War review next week but there is a lot going on and so videos will be sporadic for a while

that might be part of the reason another part is I had to use the camera on my phone for the pics and now I have a scanner and the quality looks better.

I didn't film my Retro game treasure unboxing because the day I got it had been a long and busy day so I was too tired to set everything up so I'll try and hopefully film it when the next one comes in a couple of weeks

Yeah My box should be here tomorrow and I will hopefully be filming the unboxing and I'll explain what it is in more detail. But it's a subscription box where they send you 3-5 retro video games every month but you fill out a questionnaire that lets them know what type of games you like, what systems you have, what games you have and they will decide what games to send you based of that so everyone's box is different.

UGH due to Technically issues with my camera I wasn't able to film it Which I guess worked out because one of the games I got didn't work so next month they're sending me a bonus game and I will have a month to film some other videos so I don't have to a long introduction that I wrote

OK it's not great but here is Episode 0 of my rugged warrior reboot



I know some problems like the audio when I talk is low which i'm looking for a mic to fix that
My video/stage presence is lousy which I hope will get better as I get more comfortable with it
the camera angle changes between tease and main subject which will be an easy fix
I do like the editing especially with the game footage
I do want to make a better opening when I can

Nice beginning. I love your intro / outro bits.

I also like how you showed a little gameplay of each game as you got it out.

Getting good sound can be a challenge. Especially when you film outside. I know because I just did that a few days ago. You can get some improvement by using noise-reduction effects while editing, but that can only go so far. A lapel microphone might help, if you can get one that works with your phone.

Stage presence certainly improves with confidence over time. Some times I get better, and some times I go backward.
Good on you for putting yourself out there. Looking forward to your next video.

ok Episode 1 is up my stage presence is still not great but like my stream my goal is just to try and get content up regularly that's my first step.

currently working on the next 3 episodes where i'm talking about my race history and it'll be interesting to see if it races my geek cred because of all the geek themed races I've done or lower it because of how little I know about some of these themes

Episode 2 is up. my editing program stopped working and won't load up now so i'm just grateful I have what I have.



my weekend goal is to find a new editing software and possibly a new camera

Here is a bonus episode an Retro Game Treasure unboxing video.
It's my first time using my new camera so I hope it's better. I do think i'm starting to get more comfortable talking to the camera.
I do have another unboxing video I'll be filming soon (when it comes) and I happened to mentioned it to one of my Instagram crushes and she said she'd love to see it. So that's going to be nerve racking to film.

This episode is finally up, Isn't ironic a video about my obstacle races would give me so many obstacles to over come just to finish. I seriously filmed this thing 4 and half times and it took 3 different shots to film today
