Yes, the rumors are true, the whispers of a nameless fear have been right to whisper of this nameless fear, it really did happen, it really was made, it really did get played on TV long, long ago, though in a galaxy far too close.

Re: Star Wars Holiday Special
Do I even have to ask if this is considered part of the cannon?

At one time, it was. That may have changed.

Re: Star Wars Holiday Special
In 2014 Disney rebooted the canon. At that time, the six films and Clone Wars were all that remained as canon. Everything else that had been created because known as "legends." Most everything that has been created since then is considered canon.

I thought something like that had happened, which was one reason Han and Leia had only one child in "The Force Awakens" (so far as we know), instead of the three kids in the earlier stories. Sadly, it was probably best. At the point they were at in the stories, things had gotten pretty convoluted and not very entertaining.

Re: Star Wars Holiday Special
I've watched that special a time or two. It's never worth the novelty for me. Not just bad, but boring. The glow-painted dancers are just too much. Put me to sleep every time. And not a single lightsaber or force trick. What were they thinking? Fishing line is not that expensive, guys! Help a nerd out!
