World of Warcraft movie

My thoughts are very mixed.

On the one hand, the acting looks like to could be B-movie bad, which might still be amusing.

On the other, the story seems to be promising.

I'm just hoping to care about the main characters at least a little bit, and for them to go completely nuts with visual effects. With my cursed eye it already looks like Mary Poppins and cartoon characters onscreen together, so I at least hope they cram tons of the movie with fantastical eye candy.

I ended up pretty happy with it. It was mostly a standard swords and magic thing, but the story did have a few twists and moving moments. I haven't played Warcraft much, so the twists may not have been big surprised to fans of the game, but they did surprise me, as I was expecting the story to take certain routes that it ended up not taking.

Yeah, I was expecting it to be a terrible experience, but it definitely had some good elements for me!
