My backlog burn has been going well! I came close to accidentally spending money without thinking about it when my sister came over for a movie night. I suppose I could have justified it since it wasn't going to be just for me. But we found something free to watch. Next year I might have to increase the length of my personal burn! This has been going much more quickly than I thought it would!

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the last day to notify me that you've completed your backlog burn!
Today also happens to be the last day of my burn, and it's gone really well! As I suspected, the harder parts were avoiding little things like redbox rentals. The other challenge was making the choice NOT to look at weekly sales on gog and the playstation store, which is a weekly ritual of mine and sometimes results in game purchases. But I've completed 2 games in my backlog during the 4 weeks, and also gotten a lot of play out of some other games. So it was a good reminder that I have way more toys than I need.
