This is looking closer to what I was hoping for in the last season.
That was basically, a first episode, a last episode, and a whole lot of un-related filler in between.
This looks like a unified (and rather epic) story.

Okey doke. I thought that was just a miniseries, not a whole season. Guess these actors must feel like they've done enough other stuff and are content that this is the main gig of their careers.
The trailer looks like it's updating the storytelling style to keep pace with modern TV a little more. What stood out to me most, though, is the talk of their son. I guess I remember now that they had a kid together. Are they married or at least "together"?
It would be really cool and unexpected if this series had evolved to the point where it is now about a married couple!

They're not married. It's believed William is the son of Mulder and Scully but there are other weird theories too.

Well that was hoping for too much. But still, a sci-fi show about PARENTS and their son?? Could be some cool story opportunities there if they know what to do with them.
