I love Star Trek, especially the TOS (though not as much as Matt McKinney). I love board games. I love playing with action figures (though my son is now "too big" for it to be fun anymore). Heroclix to the rescue!
Heroclix is a tabletop skirmish game using superhero miniatures. They've got both the Marvel and DC characters. They've got the Ninja Turtles. They've done a few other licenses too, including Judge Dredd and Hellboy. They've already got two starship battles games for Star Trek and they did a movie character Heroclix set for the JJ Abrams film. Now they're coming out with the Original Series characters and I'm super excited to pit Kirk against both Batman and Rafael. Read the press release at Dice Dice Kitty!
