    J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here.

Sorry to tell you, but our newly repaired bus suffered severe damage this past
weekend when a big part holding one of its axles broke off.

We discovered it Sunday and immediately took the bus to a repair shop in North
Carolina. Their mechanic said it was too much work to do there, but it would be
safe enough to drive home (the damage was held in place by an airbag and a
    shock) for repairs.

Our local mechanic has since looked at it and says the broken part was
apparently welded back together before by one of the bus's previous owners. The
repairs needed are extensive and expensive.

Just to fix it the way it was fixed by the previous owner will cost several
thousand dollars. To fix it so it doesn't happen again will cost significantly
    more.

Furthermore, the repairs have forced us to postpone this weekend's concerts. So
we have major unexpected expenses plus the loss of concerts we already needed to
    pay regular bills.

And so, once again, I am emailing all our fans. Please pray for us. If you
feel led to help financially, please go to:

If you prefer to mail a check or money order, please make it out to "ApologetiX"
    and send it to:

Thanks again. Please do not feel pressured to give, but please do pray. God
    bless you.

    Your friend,

    J.

This was posted in the Apologetix newsletter. If you've not heard of this Christian parody band, you're really missing out. It's great music, and the "parody" doesn't mean they're making fun of popular music, just repurposing it to communicate Christ! Anyway, they need our support, prayer and otherwise.
