I did my first all day fast and it was really hard but I think it was worth it and I was curious how and how often do you guys fast?

This is a discipline that I'm still an infant in. No regularity at all. The first time I "food fasted" (as I think the principle can be applied outside of diet) was just a couple of months ago to help focus my prayer on a specific issue.
In that case it was a 24 hour fast, starting after an early dinner on one day and ending 24 hours later, followed by a late dinner. I had liquids, but I can't remember now if it was just water or if I had juice as well.
Probably the easiest way I could think of to do it. As I said, it's a new discipline to me. ;-)
A growling stomach makes a great reminder to "pray without ceasing"!

Yeah it was a no food fast I also avoid TV most of the day (it's hard to do after my mom came home from work)
