Smart Phone RPG Planner?

So, I'm FINALLY in the market for a smart phone. I was sold on the idea based mostly on its potential to keep me organized and reminded of my daily "to dos".

While thinking about the idea some more, I was reminded of an app I once saw a segment about (I think on G4 or somewhere else) that is a combo of day planner and RPG. Basically, you create a character and then fill in your schedule with events and agenda items. Each item is given an experience point value, so that your character advances as you take out the garbage, do the grocery shopping or change the oil, etc.

Trouble is, I have NO idea how to track down this app. Any ideas on how I might find it?

I haven't heard of that but it sounds cool I want one too

I believe it's called "Epic Win". I think it's only available on the iPhone.

Actually back when I had a blackberry (which I still miss sometimes) I really wanted this app. So I just pulled it out of the ol' memory banks.

If you have a friend with an iphone you might want to check this out first before buying a phone based on one app. (I have an android). One of my friends tried out the app and wasn't terribly impressed. (Although he's hardly a geek!)

I don't see an iPad version of it out there in the App Store. However I do have several iPhone only apps running just fine on my iPad. It may work just fine......sorry, not gonna pay $3 just to find out though.

Yeah, I ran into those too. Not too bad lookin'!

Do you happen to know if Epic Win has an "Alarm" feature? Earning experience for agenda items is all well and good, but I need my phone to buzz me so I REMEMBER to do agenda items.

Thanks Nathan I downloaded both of them and I think Task Hammer is the better of the two. Really enjoying it

I don't know if it does but Task Hammer does I use it to remind me to water the lawn you can use Task Hammers default sound (which really goes with the App or you can change it to any other other alarm sounds you have on your phone
