For those of you who don't know, you can check out the Rifftrax Website here.

Anyone have some favorites? Which movie would you like to see them make a Rifftrax for? When is my product placement check arriving in the mail?

I've been watching the Twilight movies with them recently. (Haven't seen them before and it appears to be the best way to view them.) But they also do a great job with many "good" movies. One of my favorites is their Rifftrax for The Matrix.

I feel the opportunity to boast here. I have every single Rifftrax mpeg, VOD and short!
The Twilight movies are all great, as are the Harry Potters. Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny is agonizingly funny. Starship Troopers just came out and it's awesome, too!

Whoa! Hardcore! You don't have all the iriffs too, do you? I haven't been impressed with samples for any of those.

Only three(Dune, Superman IV and Lost in Space), and I'd only call one of them actually worth a repeat listening (Superman IV).

I listened to a few of them. Independence Day and Star Trek '09.

I wasn't that big of a fan, I just couldn't get into them.

They are very much like MST3K for me in that those episodes were always hit or miss with me. Sometimes they seemed really on their game and just had me laughing alot, other times it seemed like the whole episode was a dud. I thought their Matrix commentary was great, but their Matrix Reloaded track was pretty dull.

My wife and I are excited to be going to the RiffTrax live simulcast this Thursday. It's the first time I've ever been interested in one of those live "Fathom Events" they're always advertising at the theater.

They're doing "Night of the Living Dead". I considered going to it, but since it's public domain, I'm sure they'll sell the VOD of it soon enough.

This will be the biggest gathering of geeks we've been to since we stopped going to Comic-Con. I don't necessarily count regular movie audiences, there were probably a lot of non-geeks at The Hobbit, but only a real geek would pay for a public RiffTrax simulcast!

Maybe if you had a big bolt of silk with you? Wink
Yeah, I've been to three live shows and it's great to see how many other people enjoy it. I tried to get my friend to join me in costume for Manos last year, but he chickened out at the last second.
Still have the costumes, though! Very Happy[/quote]

They just released their SEVENTH Harry Potter Riff (Deathly Hallows 1) on Halloween and, like all the HP Riffs, IT IS AWESOME!!!
I honestly find that, for just about every series they do, they get better and better with time.
Check out the samples on YouTube!

Anyone else following the 1940's Batman serials they're doing?

I've recently gotten a hold of all the Cinester iRiffs, and they're great! Some I'd even call as good as the regular three!
