OK I came up with this idea at 4 am this morning so it might sound weird but a Christian Scientist is tierd of waiting for Christ to return so he invents a machine to make people think the rapture happened. What do u think?

I think there is untapped potential in the concept of a "well-meaning" person trying to advance God's timetable by attempting to do his job for him. So consider me intrigued.

I think it could end with rapture happening but his machine is used as the lie to throw people of the TRUTH of what really happened

I was in a Bible Study once that brought this up. Someone said that this was what Judas was doing by turning Christ in. He wanted a revolution. Jesus was God's Son so God wouldn't let Jesus be destroyed. Judas thought that by turning Christ over to the authorities would force God to take action. I don't think Judas thought that Jesus would be killed and when he was he was like, OMG What have I done? and then he killed himself. Just a thought sparked by this conversation. Let me know what you guys think.
