By that I don't mean necessarily your favorite movie/game/book/show of all time, but the one that has the most "replay value" for you. Something you have enjoyed experiencing multiple times in its entirety.

In movies, that used to be The Matrix Trilogy for me. Same with Farscape in TV. But the luster has finally worn off much of the Matrix for me, and I think after this run-through of Farscape I may take 5 or so years off before viewing it again. (Unless they ever find those original film masters and re-do the FX to match for a "super-awesome HD edition".)

Right now I'm between highly anticipated geek releases, and so I'm dipping back into some old favorites in video games. But I've found that the one video game I ALWAYS seem to come back to in these "between seasons" is Neverwinter Nights. So many classes and excellent campaigns (both official and user created) to play with. The potential just seems as limitless as the PnP source material it's based on sometimes! I've played many other video games more than once and a handful more than twice! But "Neverending" Nights doesn't even have a close second for me.

    How about you?

Three words: Weird, Al, and Yankovic.
From the first time I heard "Yoda" in the basement of a friend's house, I was a fan.
I used to get a tape and listen to it until I had it memorized. I activate Amazon music and listen to all his songs on a loop... and sing along (poorly) the whole time. I've gone to two concerts in my life, Mandisa because she came relatively local, and Weird Al because I won tickets. He is coming fairly local again for Mandatory Fun Tour and I am really tempted to fork over the dollars. Most of the music I know, I get from Weird Al songs... I hear a song on the radio and think "this is familiar, just wrong somehow".
Al is a genius, I mean, how many people can make an "Angry White Boy Polka" and have it be awesome? Just one that I know of.
I can't hear or see the word "Dolby" without singing "Frank's 2000 Inch TV". ...see? I'm doing it now.
I could go on and on and on and so forth, but I'll save you all the fan-boy eloquence.

For me it's Star Trek Deep Space 9 in tv, I go through all 7 seasons about once every two years.
And Star Wars, all six of them, in movies.

For me it is often Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, pretty much any of the Indiana Jones films, or Xenozoic Tales comics (Cadillacs & Dinosaurs). Another series of items I've had since I was a youngster is an old TSR RPG called Top Secret/S.I. Cracking those books open every once in a while has a great comfort for me.

Mystery Science Theater 3000. I can watch the same episode a dozen times and find a new joke.
It's one of the few entertainment items in life I don't get bored with!

Yeah, I need to get back to that show sometime. I'll bet it's aged better than any other Trek.

Collecting those sets is on my bucket list. Usually pretty pricey now, so I content myself with Rifftrax.

I've kept up on the sets since they started coming out on DVD... so I'm pretty current.

But Shout Factory (the current distributor) has made a huge chunk of episode free on their website. (And if you have a Roku, you can get the channel on there too!)

For me it is Futurama. Like Nathan said about MST3K, I can watch it constantly (and do) finding new jokes all the time.

Plus with them being on netflix and so short it's an easy way to burn half an hour on the rare occasions I have free time.

    Go-to geekery....

Bruce Timm's animated DCU. Batman, Superman, Batman Beyond, Static Shock, Teen Titans, The Zeta Project, Justice League.... I taped these off of tv when they first aired. Lovingly transferred each episode to a fresh VHS cassette and removed the commercials. Then when I bought my first DVD recorder, I transferred my recordings to disc. Finally, when the "real" DVDs became available I bought them too. I'm seriously considering upgrading to the blu-ray release of the Justice League cartoon.

Palladium RPGs. Rifts, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Robotech, Heroes Unlimited. These are my go-to games. I've played them more than any other, and they're the ones I keep coming back to. Even if I don't have a game going, I find myself reading the books and doodling with characters.

The comics of Grant Morrison, Mark Waid, and Chuck Dixon. These guys wrote some of my absolute favorite stories, and I've read them many many times.
